Welcome to our investment guide. Before we get started we want to tell you how honored we are to be in consideration to be your photographers. We will work hard to inform you about all the ins and outs of what we offer. There is a lot that gos into picking a wedding photographer and we know this is not a decision you are taking lightly. Thats why the best way to make sure you are getting what you deserve is to jump on a call and hear the persons voice on the other end. Making sure you have a genuine connection with your photographer is paramount.
Please, please, please let us know if there is something we are not offering that you would like. We pride ourselves on fulfilling your every want and need. So wether you have questions about budget, collection components, price or all of the above please let us know and we will work hand in hand with you to insure your photographic collection and coverage fulfills all your wants and needs. Building custom collections is a big part of what we do. Every couple is different and we want to work with you.

Terms:
I require a 40% deposit to book your date. The balance is not due till ten days prior to your wedding. I often receive multiple inquires for the same wedding date. When you inquire I will inform you of any other competing inquiries. I honor first inquires with a 10 day grace period to insure the security of contracting my services. This allows you time to review and discuss collections and get to know me a bit better. I understand how big of a decision it is and will do everything in my power to help you make the best decision possible.
Rehearsal Coverage:
Rehearsal coverage is booked separately from my set collections. I often will book multiple weddings in a weekend so please inform me early if this is something you are interested in. My rehearsal coverage includes coverage of the rehearsal ceremony, rehearsal dinner and the rights to the images that will be presented with your wedding photography. Rehearsal coverage and rights to the edited images costs $1,900
Albums:
If your collection includes an album or if you are interested in an album please let me know and I will send digital examples.

CUSTOM TIMELINE PLANNING
I work closely with you and your vendor team on your wedding day timeline, suggesting the times needed to give you the pictures you want and deserve.
ONLINE GALLERIES
Your high-resolution, print-quality, unwatermarked wedding images are delivered in an online gallery within 4 weeks. Engagement sessions are delivered in an online gallery within 3-4 weeks.
PERSONAL PRINT RELEASE
A personal print release is included so that you can share your images with friends and family and print your images whenever and wherever you wish!
EXPECTATIONS
Griffin was great to work with and produced beautiful wedding pictures. He has a great sense of when to take charge and when to follow the lead of others. He was not overbearing like many wedding photographers are in trying to direct the bridal party (we've all been in a wedding in which the photographer is controlling and wants to run the show). Having never met him until my wedding day, he made everyone feel at ease and made the photo-taking fun. The pictures are fantastic and were delivered in a timely manner. Considering I was an out-of-town bride, Griffin was easy to work with and very responsive. He even took my call when he was overseas on vacation! I highly recommend Griffin Hart Davis Photography.

How it all works
After you send an initial inquiry, I will send you my pricing guide + confirm availability of your date!
2. consult
After we figure out if we are a good fit for each other, I will send you a digital contract and retainer invoice to reserve your wedding date.
3. Engagements
After everything is booked, it's time to plan your engagement session! This allows you to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding!
4. Questionnaire
We're just a few months out & you're planning all the last minute details! I will send you a questionnaire to help me prepare for every moment! From this we put together your photo timeline
5. wedding day
I photograph you & your fiancé's best day ever! You will receive a mini-gallery of sneak peeks the day after your wedding so that you can start sharing right away!
6. Delivery
Four weeks after your wedding day you will receive your full online gallery! Then you'll be free to download, purchase prints + albums and stare at them over and over.
Professional hair and makeup is always highly recommended for
engagement sessions! This can be a great way to test out styles ahead of
your wedding day.

A. I am a hybrid wedding and portrait photographer, fluent in both digital and analog film photography. I have a degree in commercial photography from one of the nations top photographic programs. Rather than following trends and the latest fads on Pinterest, I strive to create timeless and authentic imagery with an elegant, classic, and clean style. I take a photojournalistic-meets- natural-styled approach to each session I shoot, so I will give you plenty of space, but also be there to help with natural and relaxed posing.
Q. What kind of photography do you offer and what is your style?
A. Both! By shooting digital AND film, I’m able to utilize the strengths of each medium while also delivering a consistent and cohesive wedding collection. There are so many reasons why I choose to include film in my work - from the incredible dynamic range to the timelessness of analog photography - but the main reason is because it allows me to slow down and take my time in crafting each image. To me, shooting film means shooting with intention. That’s not to say that digital images don’t have their place! Digital images have incredible clarity and versatility in tough lighting situations where I want to test different settings in order to capture the moment perfectly.
I want your pictures to be something tangible that you will keep and look back on forever, and shooting a hybrid blend of both digital and film mediums helps me do exactly that.
Q. Do you shoot digital or film?
Frequently Asked Questions
A. Engagement sessions are delivered within 3-4 weeks. Wedding galleries are delivered within 4-6 weeks. Engagement sessions come to 125-200 images and weddings with unlimited coverage come to 600 - 800 images. All images are fully edited. None of the images on this site have had additional retouching for portfolio purposes. These are all the same exact images given to clients.
Q. When will we receive our images? How many images should I expect?
A. If there are any special guests attending your big day, or if certain ceremonies have significant meaning to you, this kind of information is definitely helpful for me to know ahead of time. I also ask if you have examples of photos that took your breath away and want to recreate share away. I will totally accommodate your requests
Q. I found some poses online that I’d love to have done at my wedding. Do you ever work off of a shot list?
Q. Do you travel to weddings?
A. Absolutely! I am based in North Carolina and Portland OR but have photographed weddings all over. My passport is current - just say the word!
Q. We’re ready to book! How do we start the process?
A. WOOHOO! To book your wedding with GHD Weddings, a non-refundable retainer fee of 40% of your balance and a signed digital contract are due. Once those two things are received, your date is fully booked. Final payment is due no later than 10 days before your wedding.
